So here’s the first entry of this blog!! yeah!!! only 51 more songs to go, we’re getting there! 
The song is about leaving behind everything and everyone you love to pursue your dreams, which could be what i have to do one day if the songs on this blog are good enough!
What I like about it:
I like that the verse sounds like galloping and i find it has some cool energy. I like the first melodic line of the chorus. I like the build up of energy through the song and the ending with the two melodies.
What I’m not so sure:
I’m not totally convinced that the chorus is a good match for the verse, i find its a bit too smooth compared to the verse, even though i really like both separately. Then, I don’t know if the repeating of the “take, take”, “make, make” in the chorus is really necessary, this was an experiment with lyrical hooks, but i’m not sure i would keep it.
Also if someone has a better idea for the second line of the chorus, it says “So make make sure that you understand” but then there was a line that said what there was to understand which was cut off, so now it feels a bit lonely by itself!
And a quick note since this is the first post, just to say that my songs are gonna be only acoustic guitar and voice, because of the time restraint and also to focus on the song itself not the arrangements… So this is not a question of style, i will definitely put some electronic guitar, drums, keyboard, etc in the final versions of the songs….

Hey Lou,
Dope track. It’s definitely a fun ballad. Good job overall, but one suggestion I have is to make the chorus more energetic and catchier. The verses are sung soft and slow which tends to create a big buildup for a solid hook that’ll get your listeners singing along. You can try maybe speeding it up or going for dual vocals? Keep it up!

‘walking away’ is really good! i like the lyrics and the melody. your voice is really good in this song too… oooh and i really like the ending the with walking aways and back up singing over! sooo good! i also liked the bridge in that one too. but the ending was sick!
