Here’s this week’s song, about the lack of motivation im currently going through, hopefully it’s only because of the winter coming… i know i didnt spend half of the time i should have on it, it could have been a lot better.. the problem is i kinda neglected a lot of other things since i started this project, and its starting to catch up with me…. so i need to fix all those issues before i can put my mind 100% into this again… but i have a plan, i just hope everything will work out
What I like about it:
I like the intro and when the drum starts after
What I’m not so sure:
Overall, im not very satisfied, normally when im finished recording a song i feel like listening to it a bunch of times but that wasnt the case with this one… it needs more variation to avoid getting boring
Lyrics & Chords
Locked Inside My Head Em Am C D With so many projects, so many plans And convictions burning fiercely within No intent to compromise No intent to compromise I had all the steps perfectly aligned Why can't i just feel a tenth of this drive Every hopes are compromised Every hopes are compromised And I'm left With stumbling words spewed out of place Searching night and day For right things to say I'm locked inside my head And I'm left Limping behind and out of pace Searching night and day For right things to say I'm locked inside my head My goal got so real, i felt i could touch I could see my life clearly shaping up The circle came to a close The circle came to a close Now my muse is gone, i wander alone With empty eyes and no place to call home No one to sing those songs for No one to sing those songs forPosted under Rock

I really like this song, and the lyrics are great. It stops too abruptly at the end. The first time I though the effect of the keyboard was weird, a kind of trumpet sound almost. But the second time I listened it felt OK. Anyway love the song.
Les paroles sont bonnes. on s’habitue à ton trip électro-dance mais c’est pas ce que je préfère. lol!
Hey nice electro song again! I approve Sam : the lyrics are really great! But I think I don’t really like the intro! It seems too different from the rest of the song. It sounds like the beginning of a death metal song, or something with an heavy atmosphere and then, the little keyboard beat starts and we want to dance! That’s strange I think. And I was not sure about the head’s voice at the end of the chorus (I’m locked inside my head)… I listen to it again and again, and it’s not that bad, but maybe you could say it like this only for the first part of the chorus, and finish the chorus without the high pitch on “locked”… You know what I mean? So, that’s it!
Louis, I haven’t listened to every song on here yet. But this song is ready to go outside of some sort of bridge. Or maybe after the first chorus you could drop everything out except for the bass line. Look for a way to break the song up and always keep in mind that you need to get to the hook of a song in the first minute. By that I mean, do something in the first minute that makes people take notice.
Glad I found your site, though. Love what you are doing here!
