How about a super smooth ballad after last week’s more energic song? So here is “Playing It Cool” about basically choices in life and what they can impact on your future. Oh scary scary choices!! I hope you like… i’m pretty happy with it… normally i would be pissed that it’s another ballad when i wanna do rock, but now i decided to accept my mini-wheat personality with its 2 sides!
What I like about it:
I like the melodies overall, its peaceful and relaxing. I’m really happy with the lyrics too, especially that at the beginning it took me almost a whole day just to come up with the first paragraph…
What I’m not so sure:
It’s somewhat on a related theme than No Excuse, the words could be better pronounced at some places

Naturally, it’s the kind off song for which, I have some preferences. The song as a whole, is very emotional. I love particularly your voice in the “But if I loose you”.
I think you could add even more punch at the beginning of the chorus if you use more back vocal only in the part

Any way, like it is now, it’s very good !
The pitch of your voice is perfect it’s sounds clear and really good, but I think you can add more feeling to it. As they tell in Star Academie, sing it like it would be the last time you can sing! I like the lyrics a lot and the beat also. Can’t wait to hear that in show. Nice.
