Yes I’m still posting songs here! i’m just more focused on preparing a live show which will happen by beginning of july max for sure! (my ultimate deadline)
But in the meantime, i also played a lot of piano and the last two days i’ve been recording this non-stop to the point that i just look at myself and the mirror and it’s pretty scary! a shower and a shave will be really welcome! but i’m pretty happy with this new song! I hope you enjoy it, my first one on the piano!

What I like about it:
I put a lot more airiness in my voice and i like the result, i like the piano
What I’m not so sure:
The end is not very tight, i added the drums as the last step instead of the first one.. so the rythm is a bit off… also maybe the screaming is a bit exaggerated for the song

Your voice sounds really nice in that song and we can hear it clearly. I like the last part even if the rythm is a bit off, I find it more intense. The rest of the song is good because you sing well and the piano part is good too, but a bit slow for my taste. Maybe after the first chorus you could play harder and sing louder. You wrote that you think the screaming at the end is a bit exaggerated for the song, I don’t think so.
Man Louis, this is really really good! Kind of different from anything I’ve heard you do before. But really good! Your voice is perfect for this song!

i just stumbled on this site, i was looking for songs from the 50’s and i listened to ‘Dreams of Yours’ and i was like damn thats pretty legit, modern day Nick Drake, Keep up the good work.
